Once the payment is processed, return to your application to fill in the required information and upload the necessary documents and introduction video.

4Await University Response

The Admissions Office will review all applications. If you qualify, you will receive an email notification with the details of your admission test.

5Admission or Rejection

  • If you pass the admission stage, you will receive a conditional acceptance email outlining the available majors and required documents.
  • If you do not qualify, you will receive a rejection notification via email.

6Submit Required Documents

After the high school results are announced and you meet the admission criteria, you must submit all required documents as outlined in your conditional acceptance letter to receive your university ID number.

No, they are not mandatory. However, submitting details about extracurricular activities can enhance a student’s admission chances by highlighting their skills, passion, and capabilities alongside their academic achievements.

The admissions test assesses logical reasoning through different means. The test does not require prior preparation.

You should introduce yourself and speak about your hobbies, your extracurricular activities, why you chose HTU and what your future aspirations are, all in one minute.

Applicants can sit for the placement tests (English language, Arabic language and Mathematics) after they have been accepted, and their university ID no. have been issued. The programming placement test is optional

The English placement test examines reading, listening and comprehension, while the maths placement test is split into two parts where the rst covers basics and the second covers more advanced concepts. Both tests are administered in English. The Arabic placement test examines the fundamental Arabic language skills at the secondary school level

The English language level test is compulsory for all applicants, except when an applicant provides an international certificate (TOEFL and IELTS) for consideration to determine the level, after obtaining a written approval from the Head of the Languages Department at the university. A student transferring from other universities is not required to take the mathematics level exam and/or the Arabic language level exam. For more information on the equivalency procedures in this case, you can see the items "Languages" and "Basic Sciences" from the policy of equivalency for courses that have been studied in other universities or colleges before making a decision to apply for an equivalency or to apply for placement exams. Placement test fees are fixed, do not change and are non-refundable. A credit transfer equivalency request will not be considered if you sit for a placement test.

Yes, admission to Al-Hussein Technical University requires that the applicant has passed all their Tawjihi courses (nal attained grade should be above 50%). This is because HTU offers an integrated university degree that follows a learning framework focusing on skills and competencies that t the according to the qualification level. In this way, HTU helps applicants highlight their strengths and who are motivated to join our technical programmes and are able to make use of out multiple exit model (HNC, HND & BSc)

- Yes, physics is a requirement to apply to university. HTU is a STEM based university that has a focus on technical education and that is relevant to the Jordanian and regional labour market. Our students are expected to have physics as this is relevant and demanded for engineering, construction and computing programmes.

- In instances where the physics school subject is mentioned in the admission criteria, the (A-level) or (O-level) level is accepted in the case of the British educational certificate, or the (Higher level) or (Standard level) is accepted in the case of the International Baccalaureate Certificate, and In the case of any other foreign certificates, they must appear on the certificate issued by the authorized certification body.

- A student who has an International Baccalaureate Certificate and has studied physics until the tenth grade at a minimum competes for admission to the

university, however, no points will be allocated for them in the physics grade mentioned in the admission criteria.

Yes, you can. The conditional acceptance offer letter will mention the entry requirements for the technical degree if you are not accepted for the BSc degree

Students must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the final year of their technical degree. If this requirement is not met, students can work for two years and then return to HTU to complete their bachelor’s degree

No, transferring to a bachelor’s degree is only possible through achieving the required GPA in the final year of the technical degree or after working for two years.

a. Regular fees programme: The following groups can enroll in the regular fees regardless of the nationality of the high school diploma they hold:

- Jordanian students

- Non-Jordanian students residing in Jordan while they are taking the General Secondary School Certificate exam or its equivalent.

b. International fees programme:

- International students (those who do not hold a Jordanian nationality) from different Arab or foreign countries can join the international program regardless of the nationality of the general secondary certificate they hold, provided that it is accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Education.

- You need to view the corresponding majors at the college level announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in order to know the possibility of bridging.

- Comprehensive examination scores: The student’s achievement in the comprehensive examination must be 80%, provided that the Admission and Registration Department is provided with a certified copy of the comprehensive examination certificate in addition to the same papers required of students transferring from other universities.

- The exam does not assess your prior knowledge of architecture, physics, or mathematics. Instead, it evaluates logic, interpretation, visual reading, imagination, creativity, and the ability to translate ideas into simple drawings and forms.

- The exam is available in both Arabic and English.

No, HTU bases its acceptance of transfer students solely on their high school GPA.

The minimum GPA for bridging students is 80%.
