Requirements - HTU

BSc minimum entry: Overall average of 80% or above is allowed;
Technical degree minimum entry: Overall average of 70% or above is allowed;

Admission is based on the competitive performance of applicants judged by their overall score based on the table below:

20 points for high school GPA.
20 points for math grades.
20 points for physics grades.
20 points for the personal interview.
10 points for a personal introductory video.
10 points for admission tests.
10 bonus points for extracurricular activities and additional certificates in conjunction with the personal interview, provided that they are uploaded onto the document attachments when submitting the application.

School Qualification	Admission Policy
Tawjihi	Tawjihi streams: Scientific / Scientific (Medical) / Scientific (Engineering) / Industrial (university track with the two additional subjects); Physics and Maths school subjects appearing on the transcript; No individual school subject score is below 50%;
IGCSE	Tawjihi equivalency for scientific stream; A-level maths; O-level or A-level physics;
IB Certificate	Tawjihi equivalency for scientific stream; HL or SL maths; HL or SL physics; A student who has an International Baccalaureate Certificate and has studied physics until the tenth grade at a minimum competes for admission to the university, however, no points will be allocated for them in the physics grade mentioned in the admission criteria.
American Certificates	Tawjihi equivalency for scientific stream; ACT, SAT II or AP maths; ACT, SAT II or AP physics; No other forms of American certificates are accepted; AP’s are encouraged but not mandatory;
BTEC Qualification	Tawjihi equivalency for scientific stream; Level 3 qualification in engineering. Applicants who have a BTEC level 3 in engineering can only apply to majors in the School of Engineering Technology;
Bridging from an associate college degree (BSc only)	BSc minimum entry: Comprehensive examination score of at least{" "} 80%; Studied a corresponding major at the associate college degree;
All other international school qualifications	Tawjihi equivalency for scientific stream; Maths and physics appearing on the final year transcript;
